CHRISTOPHER BRENDAN FAGAN, age 68. Loving husband of Barbara (nee Vargo); devoted father of Kathleen Devanski (James) of Agawam, MA., Patricia Kehoe (Patrick) of Vienna, VA., Colleen Bonner (Robert) of Scituate, MA., Matthew (Jocelyn) of Austin TX., Timothy (Maureen) of Wilmette, IL., and Daniel (Kathleen) of South Boston, MA.; dear grandpa of Clare, Annie, Helen, Grace, Caroline, Mia, Molly, Brigid, Liam and Maggie; caring stepfather of Christopher (Pamela) Bradish of Redlands, CA., Michael (Maria) of Newport, KY., and Mary of Brea, CA.; loyal brother of Kevin (Sara) of Dallas, TX., and Neal (Jane) of Kingwood, TX.

Christopher was born in South Bend, IN., was a graduate of South Bend Central High School, University of Notre Dame and Georgetown Law School.

He was a veteran of the Office of Naval Intelligence.

After working at the U.S. Patent office and Eaton Corp., he joined what became known as the law firm of Fay, Sharpe, Fagan Minnich & McKee, LLP - where he practiced for almost 40 years up until the time of his death. As an Adjunct professor at the Cleveland State University, Cleveland - Marshall College of Law, he inspired his students with his passion and love of the law. He was a member of the Ohio Bar Assn., he made many appearances before District courts and Federal Appellate courts throughout the U.S. including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He was Past President of the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Assn., and member Arbitration Panel, Court of Common Pleas, Cuyahoga County. He is listed in "The Best Lawyers in America". He was a 20 year member of the Rocky River Community Band, where he played the tuba. He is a member of the Notre Dame Club of Cleveland.

Following a courageous battle with cancer, he died on Aug. 19, 2006.
