BLAINE R. RICHARDS

April 15, 1931 - April 14, 2008
BAY VILLAGE, OH - Blaine R. Richards, 76, formerly of South Bend, passed away at 6:52 a.m. Monday April 14 in the Renaissance Center in Bay Village Blaine was born April 15, 1931, in South Bend, to the late Blaine W. Richard and Beatrice (Brown) Richards.

He was a graduate of South Bend Central High School and Indiana University Extension Center.

On July 7, 1951, Blaine married Patsy R. "Pat" Coryn, who preceded him in death on October 1, 2006. Also preceding him in death was a son, Jeffrey B. Richards. H

e worked as a salesman for Drewerys Brewery in South Bend and was a leasing agent for TransAmerica Corp. He later managed the Terminal Tower in downtown Cleveland, OH, and retired as Manager of the Hanna Building, also in Cleveland.

He is survived by a daughter, Jill (Tony Sutyak) Richards of Avon Lake, OH; a granddaughter, Kelly (Nicholas) Mize of Fairview Park, OH; a grandson, Zachrey Richards of Toledo, OH; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Carol Coryn of Mishawaka.

Memorial services were held on Wednesday April 16 in St. Raphael Catholic Church, Bay Village, OH. Memorial contributions maybe made to the American Cancer Society.
