South Bend - Roger A. Rensberger, 83, of South Bend, passed away Friday September 18, 2015 at Sprenger Nursing Home, Mishawaka. He was born on June 26, 1932, to the late Ernest R. and Naomi Inez (Wenrick) Rensberger. 

Roger graduated from Muessel School and South Bend Central in 1949, where he painted sets for the Barnstormers of Central High School. He went on to receive his Bachelors Degree from Ball State University in business and art. 

He was drafted by the United States Army, where he served at Fort Knox.

He was a member of the Sons of American Revolution. Mr. Rensberger worked for the U.S. Government as a Public Relations Manger. He worked in Bethesda, MD for over 30 years, of which 6 months of time he spent in Brussels as an Assistant to the European Union Ambassador. He later worked for Department of Standards as a Public Relations Advisor. He retired in 2004. 

Roger is survived by his brother, William Rensberger of South Bend.

There will be no services, cremation will take place. His cremains will be laid to rest next to his father in Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. To send online condolences, please visit www.kaniewski.com.
