MENSCH, Mary Butler
Born Nov. 24, 1934, in South Bend, Indiana, Passed away, Dec. 7, 2007, in her home, after a lengthy struggle with Breast Cancer. Mary is survived by her husband of nearly 50 yrs, William F. Mensch; her four children, Charles M. Mensch, Paul E. Mensch, Lisa Mensch Styles, and Amy T. Mensch, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter, and many extended family and friends. Mary considered working as a Stewardess with American Airlines (1956-1958), a member of the Kiwi's (former American Airline stewardess), a member of the Starlighters Dance Club, and a Winterstein Elementary School volunteer, to be highlights of her life. All are invited to celebrate her life, on Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, 5:30-8:30 pm at the Arden Manor Recreation Club House, 1415 Rushden Dr., Sacto, CA 95864. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Valley Ridge Foundation, 6929 Sunrise Blvd. Ste. 180, Citrus Hgts, CA 95610 (Hospice Care).

My Gram was one of my most favorite people in the whole world! I am so thankful that she was in my life.
I have too many memories to choose from, but the one I have been thinking about a lot the last couple of days is the one when she took me shopping for my first homecoming dance. We made a weekend of it, and she made sure that I had every accessory and the best of everything that we bought.
I will miss her everyday.
