RICHARD "DICK" F. ULLERY

Richard “Dick” Frank Ullery, 89, of Wooster, died Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Smithville Western Care Center in Wooster.

Richard was born April 14, 1933, in Mishawaka, IN to Harold and Alma (Fallendorf) Ullery.

He graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1951. He joined the US Marine Corp in the fall of 1951, was deployed to Korea in 1952 and was discharged in 1954. After his discharge from the Marines, Richard came to Wooster in 1954. He married Mary Alice Kutz (deceased) in 1956 and had a son Timothy R. Ullery (deceased) and a daughter Rebecca L. “Becky” Ullery (Goodlin). He married Sandra L. Snyder (deceased) in 1970.

Richard worked for various factories in the area until he went to work for the Weber Company Inc. of Chesterfield, OH. He retired from the Weber Company Inc. after 27 years. Richard went on to deliver a rural paper route for the Daily Record until was 87. 

He was Past President of the Beall Ave. and Wayne County PTA. Past High Priest of Wooster Chapter #27. He was a member of Ebenezer Masonic Lodge #33, Wooster Council #13, and Wooster Community #48. He was also Past Worthy Patron of Chapter 270 Order of the Eastern Star.

Richard will be deeply missed by his daughter Rebecca L (Jeffrey) Goodlin of Leavenworth, KS; grandsons TJ Ullery and Dylan and Lucas Leach, and twin great grandsons Oliver and Watson Leach. 

Masonic services will be held Monday at 11 am at Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Graveside services with military rites will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster with Rev. Dr. Alan Nathan officiating. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
