Previously. she taught five years for Muessel Elementary School, South Bend. A graduate of Miami University. Oxford, Ohio. and Indiana University, she was a member of Tri Kappa sorority.

Services: 1 p.m. Oct. 6 In Northminster Presbyterian Church. of which she was a member, with calling there from 11 a.m. Burial: Highland Cemetery. South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the church's deacons fund or to the American Cancer Society.

Survivors: husband Dr. John Loughlin: children Carol A., Neil W. Loughlin, Peggy J. Boulden: four grandchildren. Leppert & Hensley Mortuary. Nora Chapel. Is handling arrangements.
