SOUTH BEND - Janice Angela Schock of South Bend passed away Wednesday, February 12, at Memorial Hospital. Janice was born on October 4, 1941, to the late Hugh & Edna Riley in Tuckerman, Arkansas. She was a longtime resident of South Bend, graduating from South Bend Central High School.

She loved to buy & sell antiques, owning & operating a few shops. On July 21, 1962, she married Larry W Schock. To this union were born 3 sons, Jeffery, Stephen & Michael.

Left to cherish her memory are son, Stephen & Sandra; loving companion, Frank Shula; 6 grandchildren, Shawnetta, Jordan, Daniel, Samantha, Shannon & Julian; 2 step-grandchildren, Corina & Robert. Sister, Laura & Everett Higginbothom. Larry's siblings, Joyce & Bob Cripe, Richard & Noreen Schock & Pam & Merlin Waidner. Daughter-in-law, Cindy Schock. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews whom she loved dearly, especially Linda Barnes.

The family would like to thank the staff of Memorial Hospital ICU/7th floor for the special care they gave Mom, especially Nate & Katherine RNs.

Preceding her in death her husband, Larry, sons, Jeffery & Michael, sisters, Wanda Cook & Lucille Gillean, niece, Lori Higginbothom, & nephew, Jesse Cook Jr.
