Carol Ann Adams, 91, of Wickliffe, passed away June 3, 2023 at Lake West Medical Center, Willoughby. She was born June 9, 1931 in South Bend, IN., to the late Albert and Augusta Spaulding.Carol was a wonderful Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was active in swimming, ice skating and skiing with her children. She enjoyed playing bridge with her husband, Joe and their friends. She was an accomplished seamstress and as such she designed and created many wall-size needlepoint wall-hangings. Carol was a woman of deep faith and raised her children to also have firm beliefs.Survivors include her children, Teresa (Peter) Lagerlof (nee: Adams), David Joseph (Laura) Adams and Joseph John (Nancy) Adams; grandchildren, Lindsey Griffith, Jonathan (Heather) Griffith, Hannabeth (Taylor Dolezal) Lagerlof, Colin David (Lauren) Adams, Kate Adams, Zach Adams, Dash Adams and Tina Lubarsky; great grandchildren, Thalia, Chloe, Natalie, Courtney, Brooklyn, Isabel and Harper and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.Preceding Carol in death are her husband, A. Joseph Adams; daughter, Marybeth Adams and brothers, Al, Walter and Dick Spaulding.A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 1, 2023 at St. Stephen Martyr Church, 5920 Waite St., Merrillville, Indiana 46410.
