Jerrie S. Lesicki, 74, of East Corby Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2005, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

Jerrie was born on May 25, 1930, in South Bend, to the late Anthony J. and Stella (Krojniewski) Lapczynski, and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1949. On May 27, 1950, as Jerrie S. Lapczynski, she married Eugene A. Lesicki, who survives. Also surviving is her son, Dale (Christine) Lesicki of Edwardsburg, Michigan and four grandchildren, Aubrey (Jason Attaman), April, Amber (Brendan), and Aesa (Lindsey) Lesicki.

Mrs. Lesicki was employed with Raco in South Bend for 30 years, before retiring on June 30, 2000.
She was a parishioner of St. Anthony De Padua Catholic Church, South Bend, where she served on the funeral luncheon committee, and helped with the landscaping and the care of the Sacristy. She was also a member of ZB Falcons and was a two gallon blood donor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Monday, May 16, 2005, at St. Anthony De Padua Church, 2120 E. Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, where friends may call one hour prior to services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
