Elder Robert Lee Cannon Sept. 18, 1934 - Mar. 26, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Elder Robert Lee Cannon, 79, of Jacksonville, AR, formerly of South Bend, passed away on March 26, 2014, at Baptist Health Medical Center, Springhill. He was born Sept. 18, 1934, to the union of Charles Lee Cannon and Annabelle Jane Dempsey. He was a native of South Bend, IN, and relocated to Arkansas in 2004.

Robert was employed with Bendix/Honeywell of South Bend 1978-04, and Pulaski County Special School District of Arkansas 2005 to present.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Etta Cannon (Jackie), one daughter, Monica (Tony) Felder of Indianapolis, IN, two step-daughters, Sharon Bright of North Little Rock, AR, and Tarsha Seward of Long Beach, CA, one sister, Hilda Boney of South Bend, IN, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Also surviving is his former wife, Lylene Cannon of South Bend. Memorial service is Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in First AME Zion Church, 801 N Eddy Street, South Bend.
