Ms. Cecelia Rose (Love) Doaks

Ms. Cecelia Rose Doaks was born August 26, 1940, in Pascagoula Mississippi to Elizabeth and Thomas Love. The family moved to South Bend Indiana in 1946 where she graduated from Central High School in 1958. Cecelia was employed at Roach-Appleton Manufacturing Company for many years, where she served in numerous roles during her tenure before she eventually retired.

Cecelia was a devoted Catholic and was a faithful lifelong member of Saint Augustine's Catholic Church.
Cecelia Rose Doaks, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great-grandmother and friend, was called home on December 4, 2021, at the age of eighty-one.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Cecelia (Joseph) Love, her father, Thomas Elliott Love, and brothers Peter Wright Love and Edmond Joseph Love.

She leaves fond memories:

Sister - Madalyn Love
Grandchildren - Lamont Doaks, Porsha Doaks, Chynna Doaks, Diondre Doaks, Alex Doaks, Alexis, Doaks, Dierra Doaks, Kennedy Dubose
Great grandchildren - Maliyha Lockett, Malik Darden, Dakota Hamilton, Peyton Hubbard

I would like the memory of me
To be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow
Of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
Whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
And bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve
To dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.
