Mrs. Carol A Baker, 77, formerly of South Bend Indiana departed her life October 12,2022 in Snellville, GA.

Carol was Born May 26,1945 to David W and Hazel A Fleming. She received her education from Central High School South Bend Indiana. She received her formal education from Ivy Technical college in accounting and computer programming. She enjoyed being a dedicated mother and spent most of life caring for her family and occasionally worked various jobs. Carol enjoyed supporting her kids in their activities and was their biggest cheerleader. She also enjoyed the casino and playing bingo in her spare time. She will always be remembered by her family and friends for her smile, witty sense of humor and exceptional kindness. Carol A Baker will truly be missed.

She is survived by her spouse John Albert Baker South Bend, Indiana. Son Mark Morrow (Tonya Morrow) Indianapolis Indiana, Daughter Carla Baker (Cynthia Hammond- Baker) Stone Mountain, Ga, Son John Albert Baker Jr South Bend Indiana, Daughter Crystal Baker South Bend Indiana. Brother James Curtis Fleming South Bend Indiana and Sister Rita Johnson Phoenix Arizona. Nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and as well as host of nieces and nephews

 She was preceded in death by her parents David W and Hazel A Fleming, Brothers David W Fleming Jr. and Brother Charles M Fleming, niece Marie Fleming and granddaughter Taylor Morrow. 

Services for Mrs. Baker will be held on Friday October 21, 2022 at 1 PM in the chapel of Alford’s Mortuary, 1222 Napier Street, South Bend, Indiana 46601. Friends may visit with the family an hour prior at 12 Noon. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted with Alford’s Mortuary Inc.
