Mary Lou Wolfe July 17, 1943 - May 13, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Mary Lou Wolfe, 71, died in her home Wednesday, May 13, 2015, after a bout with cancer. Mary Lou was born July 17, 1943, in South Bend, IN.

Mary Lou worked for St. Joseph County for 20 years in the Clerk's Office, the Prosecutor's Office and as a secretary for Judge William Means. After retiring from the county, she worked in Administration at Ironwood Rehabilitation Center.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her mother and stefather, Pauline and Joseph Quinlan.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Edward Hardig; her nieces and nephew, Anne (Tony) Petrocelli, Edward (Juli) Hardig Jr., Peg (Dean) Riggs and Mary (Chris) Hazel; and her great-nieces and nephews, Drew and Ben Riggs, Grace and Lucy Hardig, Jacob and Emma Hazel, and Nick Petrocelli.

Mary Lou was a graduate of Central High School and a member of the Christ Child Society and the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Anthony Church. Life was not always easy for Mary Lou, but she always had a positive attitude and a great love for her family and her friends. She left us too soon and will be greatly missed.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2310 East Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, IN 46615. Family and friends visited with the family from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. on Saturday prior to the services at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
