MISHAWAKA - Larry Lee Davis, 68, of McKinley Highway in Mishawaka, passed away of natural causes in his residence on August 28, 2007. Larry was born January 5, 1939, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Gerald W. and Grace I. (Sessler) Clubb.

On November 21, 1959, Larry married Ms. Connie Lee DeGraff in South Bend, Indiana. Connie survives along with a daughter, Vicki Lee Cawthon of Phoenix, Arizona; and two foster sons, Kevin R. Pruett of South Bend and Christin Davis of Bettendorf, Iowa. Also surviving are his brothers, Richard (Shirley) Davis of Plymouth, Indiana, Harry (Sandra) Davis of New Carlisle, Indiana, Howard Preston of South Carolina, Daniel (Nancy) Morton of Osceola, Ricky (Sabina) Morton of South Bend, Roger (Andrea) Morton of South Bend and Gerald (Dorothy) Clubb of Lakewood, California; along with his sisters, Marsha Hughes of San Francisco, California, Sharon (Alex) Parra of Lakewood, California, Patti (David) Seabald of Gilroy, California, and Beverly (Pat) Smith of Niles, Michigan. Larry is also survived by three grandchildren, Larry Lee Ulrich, Tina Lee (Kenny) Selner and William Marshal Cawthon, as well as a great-granddaughter, Savannah Lee Selner, and his faithful dog, Molly.

Larry was preceded in death by his daughter, Terri Lee Ulrich in May 2003, and by his brothers, Kenneth Eugene Morton and Revis Morton.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today, August 30, 2007, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway in Osceola. A Masonic service will be conducted this evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2007, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

Larry was a graduate of South Bend Central High School, class of 1957, and worked with the school on the committee for class reunions. He attended Valparaiso Tech and the DeVry Institute of Technology.

Larry had been the owner of Larry's Sound Connection since 1959, and had also been a real estate agent in Arizona since 2000. Larry was a member of the Council Oak Masonic Lodge #745 in South Bend, where he served as the Worshipful Master of the lodge in 1997 and a trustee of the lodge from 1998-2001; the South Bend Valley of the Scottish Rite, where he served as the Thrice Potent Master of the Lodge of Perfection in 2002; director of the 30th degree, the class reunion director and the chairman of the dining room committee. He was coronated a 33 Degree Mason in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 2005. Larry also belonged to the Orak Shrine Club, the Moose Lodge #599 of Elkhart, the Elks Lodge #235 of South Bend and #2656 of Mesa, Arizona, the Pioneer Auto Club and the Pontiac Oakland Club.

In his spare time Larry loved fishing, hunting, trapshooting, NASCAR racing, gardening, classic cars, reading, and Notre Dame football. Larry was a judge and field trialer for dogs, spent his winters in Arizona, was an amateur magician, and a devoted family man.
