SOUTH BEND - Robert O. "Bob" LaGodney of Campbellsville, KY, formerly of South Bend, passed away at 10:08 am Friday, February 17, 2012 in Campbellsville, KY.
Bob was born on September 11, 1942 in Detroit, MI to Otto and Rose Marie (Solzan) LaGodney. He was owner and operator of Bell Bakery for many years and a former employee of A.M. General in Indiana. He was united in marriage to Joyce Buchmiller on August 12, 1961.
Besides his wife, Joyce LaGodney, he is survived by two sons, Bill LaGodney of Campbellsville and Bob LaGodney of Richmond, Virginia; one sister, Mary Louise Staples of Mishawaka, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, William Joseph LaGodney and Robert LaGodney.
Family and friends may call from 6-8 Thursday, February 23, 2012 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at 11:00 am Friday in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
