The body of T/Sergt. Lucian J. Wawrzyniak, aged 27, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent F. Wawrzyniak, 435 South Grant street, was scheduled to arrive in South Bend at 4:55 p.m. today for funeral services and reburial. He was killed in action in Italy Jan. 15, 1944. Born in Nakoosa, Wis, May 16, 1916, he had lived in South Bend all his life.

Surviving besides the parents are a brother, Edwin, of South Bend, and six sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Kubaisik, Mrs. Irene Pajakowski, Mrs. Jane Woltman, and the Misses Stella and Sally, all of South Bend, and Sister M. Louise of the Felician Sisters, Plymouth, Wis.

Friends may call in the home after 11 a.m. Saturday. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church with Rev. Igantius J. Gapczynski, pastor, officiating. Burial will Be in St. Joseph Polish cemetery. Military services at the grave will be conducted by Pulaski post No. 357, American Legion.
