Emma Elizabeth Enderis

Emma Elizabeth was born to Catherine (Waltz) and C.F. Morf; she had two (possibly three) younger siblings, Paul and Grace.
Emma was born in Indiana and the young family moved to Illinois when she was about one.
Married Frank Theodore Enderis on June 6, 1901 in Chicago. On August 26, 1910 she gave birth to Theodore Henry Ferdinand Enderis in Chicago. Four months prior she and her husband were listed in the census in Newport City, Kentucky; at that time Frank was working as a newspaper editor.
The 1920 and 1930 Census find Emma and Frank in Covington City, Kentucky, there is no mention of their child Theodore.
In 1926 the Census Bureau counted the churches in Covington, at the time there were three African American Methodist Episcopal Churches, two Methodist Episcopal South Churches, and seven Methodist Episcopal churches. Frank served as pastor at Immanuel Methodist from 1918 to 1932.
At some point Emma and Frank returned to Chicago, Emma was living at 4820 North Winchester when she died in 1954.
