Funeral services were held at the chapel of Macy and Son Monday at 3:30 p.m. for Dr. Paul Fredrick Morf, McMinnville, who passed away March 4 at the age of 78 years, 4 months, and 8 days. He was a resident of 729 S. Davis street.
Dr. Morf, a retired physician, was born in Blue Island, Ill. October 26, 1871 and was married to Louise E. Morf in 1903. She survives him. He was a physician in Chicago for 50 years coming to McMinnville two weeks ago to make his home here. He was a member of the American Medical association; American College of Surgeons, and the Chicago Surgical society. He was a member of the Lincoln Park lodge No. 611 AF & AM of Chicago, and belonged to the Presbyterian church.
Surviving him are his widow, Louise; two sons, Theodore F., Springfield, Ill., and Fredrick P., Little Silver, N.J.; a daughter, Mrs. W.N. Wittenfield, McMinnville; and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Enderis and Miss Grace C. Morf, both of Chicago.
The Rev. C.C. Barnes officiated for the rites and interment followed in the Evergreen Memorial park.
