A. MEREDITH KOPPER, 98, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at her residence. Born July 25, 1913, in South Bend, she was the daughter of the late Benjamen Harrison and Anna Eliza (Johnson) Geyer. She was a Homemaker and volunteered at Lutheran Hospital for many years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, and was involved with many Guilds at the church, she was also a member of D.A.R. and Phi Beta Psi Sorority.

Survivng are her husband, Carl Elliott; daughter, Sandra (Tom) Thrasher of Villa Park, Calif.; four grandchildren, Thomas Thrasher of Yourba Linda, Calif., Kathleen Enge of Orange, Calif., Susannah Shortall of Villa Park, Calif. and Tina Medalin of Indianapolis; nine great-grandchildren; four step-daughters, Prudence Leslie, Lisa Medanic, Linda Johnsen and Nancy Fisher; and 11 stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Jocelyn Fields; and first husband, Robert M. Kopper.

Service is 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011 at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials to The Shriners Hospital for Children.
