Carol Sue Godfrey

Carol S. Godfrey, 68, of Northwood Drive, Mishawaka, passed away following an illness at 7:35 p.m. Sunday, December 4th, in Hospice House, South Bend.
She was born August 19, 1937, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to Whitney and Margaret (Ziegert) Godfrey, who both preceded her in death along with a brother, James W. Godfrey, and her stepfather, Joseph Novotny.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Judith A. Godfrey of Granger; and two nephews, Andrew W. Godfrey of Elkhart and James T. Godfrey of Granger. Also surviving is a good friend, Lennie Evans of Granger.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph, Michigan.
Carol was a credit manager for G.M.A.C. for many years.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, is in charge of arrangements.
