Kenneth Virgil Brewer

Memorial services for two South Bend brothers, K. Virgil Brewer, 51, of 1134 Sussex Dr., and Harold Eugene Brewer, 48, of 2709 Mishawaka Ave., who were killed in a plane crash near Globe, Ariz. on March 22, were to be held to-day in South Bend. 

A service for K. Virgil Brewer, whose remains were cremated in Arizona, was to be at 1:30 p.m. today in the River Park United Methodist Church, with Rev. Carl J. Lemna, pastor, officiating. Mr. Brewer was employed by Gates Chevrolet Corp He was born July 13, 1921.

On Dec. 3, 1971 he married Bulah Carder, who survives. Also surviving are his father, Chester Brewer of Mesa, Ariz.; four sons, Ronald of Miramar, Ha.; Terry of St. Petersburg, Ha., and Jerry and James, both of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Polcyn, also of South Bend; and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mardee Connors of South Bend and Mrs. Debra Carder of New Carlisle.
