Wayne Joseph Marcotte

Wayne Joseph Marcotte, 71, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 25, 2023. He was born on November 1, 1951 in Burlington, Vermont to the late Normand J. and Beulah (Rushlow) Marcotte.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Catherine. They celebrated 50 wonderful years together last July. To that union, they were blessed with daughter, Melissa (Todd) Harman and son, Timothy who passed away in May of 2022; granddaughter, Tyler (Joseph) Brennan; grandson, Tony (Ciara) Marcotte-Getz; brother, Ronald; sisters, Rita (Raul) Carrasco, Karen (Bruce) Rohen, and Sue (Lance) Oakley; sister-in-law Jeanne (Pete) Im; daughter-in-law, Dana; and many nieces, nephews and friends whom he loved very much.

Wayne was a family man. His family meant the world to him and would do anything for them.

He was an avid sports fan especially for Notre Dame and enjoyed playing video games with the grandkids and learning history about South Bend.

He will be missed.

A Celebration of life will take place on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23, enter off Cherry Rd. with visitation beginning at 2 p.m.

The family has asked that donations be made to the Marcotte family to help with Funeral expenses.
