Sharon Lorraine Cobb

ELKHART - Sharon L. Cobb, 75, of Elkhart, died on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at home after an illness surrounded by her loving family.
Sharon was born March 18, 1942, in South Bend, to the late Alva and Martha (Mrozinski) Cobb.
Surviving are a son, Kevin Cobb of Indianapolis; two sisters, Marlene (Raymond) VanWynsberghe of South Bend and Barbara Morris of Milwaukee, WI. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was the first female Allstate Insurance agent in the state of Indiana and had offices in Elkhart and Goshen. She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and volunteered her time at Church Community Services in Elkhart. She enjoyed playing cards, especially canasta, wintering in Arizona, and traveling in general. She was the original “Social Butterfly”. She will be sorely missed by her family and her many, many friends.
Visitation for Sharon will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, where the Holy Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Friends may also visit with the family on Saturday from 10 until 10:30 at the funeral home. A procession will leave the funeral home Saturday at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. Father Zak Berry of St. Vincent DePaul will officiate. Inurnment will take place at a later date at St. Joseph Polish Roman Catholic Cemetery in South Bend.
The family would like to thank everyone at Heartland Hospice and Mary Arroyo for the compassion and care given to Sharon over the last several months.
