Mary Jane (Vaughn) Doyle

91, of Indianapolis, departed this life on February 27, 2016. She was born on December 12, 1924 in South Bend, IN to Dr. Frederick W. Vaughn and Helen (Hackleberg) Vaughn. She graduated from Central High School (South Bend) in 1942. She also graduated from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. On September 18, 1948 she married John T. Doyle in South Bend. He preceded her in death in 2007. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Caroline Scott Harrison chapter of the DAR and the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association.

She is survived by her children, Michael J. Doyle, Claire Milford, Kathleen Gheen, Mary Beth Huddle, Patricia (husband Shaker) Al-Wahaili and John T. (wife Wesley) Doyle Jr. She is survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her three brothers, Frederick Jr., James and William Vaughn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at the chapel at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery with visitation an hour before service. Services entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. Tributes may be made at www.feeneyhornakkeystone.com
