Went to college at Southern Illinois University at Cardondale, IL two years. Also attended University of Massachusetts at Amherst. No degree as yet. Married 1969 through 1980. Three children and six grandchildren. From West to East coast and from North to South. I have worked in the Illinois State Senate for different legislators from Chicago area for over 40+ years. Hope to retire to Washington, D.C. in 2017. I am a member of the Springfield, IL School District Board from 2001 to present. Served one year as president. I am a Life Member of N.A.A.C.P., my favorite civil rights organization. Very active in community with senior citizens, healthcare issues and politics.
